Home listings up in metro area, but price, sales are still down The Indianapolis Star, March 25, 2008 INDIANAPOLIS Listings of homes for sale in the Indianapolis metropolitan area rose 50 percent during February to 4,320, while the number of sales declined. The Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors said home sales in the 13-county area fell 1.1 percent, in line with an earlier estimate from Landrigan & Co. Realtors. Nationally, sales of existing homes rose 2.9 percent in February, the biggest increase in a year. (Star report)
